Betty Hart founded Hart Insurance Agency in April 1978 from scratch and was the first woman to start an agency in Knoxville.  She has been in the insurance industry for 44 years.  

 

She has achieved the designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW).

 

Betty has served in leadership positions with Professional Insurance Agents (PIA), National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW), East Knox Business & Professional Association, American Business Women’s Association and Insurance Women of Knoxville (IWOK) and currently active serving in different capacities in these associations.  She has received the following awards:  Tennessee Agent of the Year (first woman to receive this award) American Association of Managing General Agents Achievement Award, Insurance Woman of the Year, Executive of the Year (2 times), ABWA Top Ten Business Woman of the Year, Chapter Woman of the Year, Citizen of the Year of East Knox County (2 times.)

 

A native of East Knox County, Betty is an active member of Mascot Baptist Church where she holds several offices.  

Robin Hart Stansberry joined Hart Insurance Agency in July 1978 as a customer service representative and agent.

 

She has achieved designations as a Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) Certified Insurance Service Professional (CISP) and a Certified Professional Insurance Women (CPIW).

 

She has had several leadership roles with National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW), Insurance Women of Knoxville (IWOK) and Professional Insurance Agents (PIA).  She is past president of  PIA-East Tennessee and IWOK.  She has received Insurance Woman of the Year award.

 

Robin is a native of East Knox County. She and her family are active members of Mascot Baptist Church.
